SWVS is coming Sept 24 -27, 2020 in Ft Worth, TX

The time has come for the Southwest Veterinary community to gather for our annual symposium this September 24-27 at the Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas.

SWVS will once again welcome DVMs, RVTs, hospital personnel, veterinary and technician students, plus all the sponsors and exhibitors that support veterinary medicine in our regions.

Get ready of  4 days packed with continuing education, exhibits, interactive labs and social events. Exhibitors and Sponsors, prepare to showcase your brand products and services to your veterinary audience while making connections that will increase your exposure.

A maximum of 29 CE credit hours are available for the SWVS General Symposium.
Additional credit hours are available through the purchase of ticketed events (Interactive Labs, Master Classes, CE Tours and Meet the Expert Lunches). In addition, DVMs licensed in Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma or Texas may claim 2 hours of CE for visiting the SWVS Exhibit Hall. Please check with your state veterinary medical licensing board for specific CE allowances and requirements. It is the individual’s responsibility to maintain and submit CE records as required. Attendees are encouraged to consult their state licensing board for specific allowances and any restrictions on the number of hours accepted for specialty and nonscience sessions (practice management).

The American Association of Veterinary State Boards RACE committee has reviewed and approved the program referenced above as meeting the Standards adopted by the AAVSB. Other CE Approvals
The “Southwest Veterinary Symposium” for classroom, lab medical/surgical, acupuncture, chiropractic, holistic, herbal, large/small animal, exotics, avian, reptiles, practice management, Equine, technician and tech assistants has been approved for 29 CE hours for DVMs and LVTs by the Alabama State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners Board.

The Practice Management/Office Personnel classes were reviewed and approved by the VHMA program for 37 hours of continuing education in jurisdictions which recognize VHMA approval.
